After years working in the construction industry I returned to the UK and discovered ceramics with classes at the local arts centre. There followed evening classes at Wobage, self-tuition and finally a move to Skye where I have set up my studio.

I like simple forms and glazes and my work reflects this. I mostly make function pieces in stoneware, which are once-fired in my bourry-box style kiln.
